Your Role on the Team Position Summary: The Critical Care Nurse is a Registered Nurse who provides individualized care to the critically ill patients and their families. Emphasis is on performing skills for a patient who is hemodynamically unstable or who requires specialized nursing care and monitoring equipment. The Registered Nurse is responsible for total care of their assigned patient (S) for the entire shift. The Critical Care Registered Nurse Follows established guidelines by the AACN in accordance with hospital and unit policies and procedures. What It Takes to be Successful
