About The Position
Must have 5+ years of experience in ICU Responsibilities: Assesses/reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to: Care of critically ill patients Airway Management- basic and advanced Pain Management Cardiac Monitoring Cardiac Care Post-operative vascular surgery care/Recovery Neurological, neurovascular, orthopedic care Gastrointestinal care Pulmonary/respiratory care Genitourinary/renal care Enteral Nutrition Skin assessment/care Central Venous catheter care and maintenance Specialized IV Drips/Titration Medication administration Information Management IV Therapy IVADD Transfusion Therapy Invasive Monitoring Waive Testing Sedation Assist with specialized procedures Use specialized equipment in the care of critically ill patients Manages Code Blue in the May Tower/Pediatrics Admission/discharge criteria Troubleshooting Infection Control Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy Manages Code Blue for inpatient areas Attends all mandatory education and in-service
