Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of Telemetry experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitoring Patients: Continuously assessing vital signs and responding to any changes in condition.
- Administering Medications: Ensuring accurate dosage and timely administration of treatments.
- Operating Medical Equipment: Managing ventilators, monitors, and other life-support devices.
- Collaborating with Healthcare Teams: Working closely with physicians and specialists to develop treatment plans.
- Providing Emotional Support: Educating and comforting patients and their families during difficult times.
- Maintaining Patient Records: Keeping detailed documentation of treatments and progress.
- Responding to Emergencies: Acting swiftly in life-threatening situations, including resuscitation efforts.
- Adhering to Safety Protocols: Following strict infection control measures to protect patients and staff.
