The 16-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at South Pointe Hospital treats patients suffering from various conditions that require advanced medical, surgical and cardiac care. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. A caregiver in this position works day/night rotation from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. OR 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross upon hire or within one year of employment
One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
