The Two Day Scheduler position is scheduled to work on weekends for 48 hours per pay period and will earn 72 hours per pay period. The working hours are from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position also involves directing and guiding patient teaching and the activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel. A lead role in patient teaching is assumed, placing the patient at the center of care practices. Collaboration and positive interaction with the interdisciplinary team are essential to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes. The position may require working in other patient care units or shifts based on the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to meet department needs.
