The RN - ICU Step Down Unit position at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital involves working in a 20 bed telemetry unit that specializes in the care and management of patients with pulmonary and other medicine-related illnesses. The unit is capable of taking care of 2 chronically ventilated patients. As a registered nurse, you are expected to deliver high-quality care and customer service, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all interactions. RNs are accountable for nursing coordination and provision of individualized care for patients of all ages, utilizing delegation and critical thinking skills in a collaborative approach to patient care.
