Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level SHIFT: 3-12 hour shifts per week 7:00pm CST - 7:00am CST, on call rotating weekends As an RN Float for Critical Care, you are vital in healthcare, coordinating patient care based on our nursing model. You assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues. You keep patients safe by understanding their needs and the healthcare setting for smoother transitions. You delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities. Your professionalism and experience help you make important recommendations that impact patient outcomes.

Requirements

2+ years of ICU experience, with 1+ years of RN experience in the US
License/Certification RN - Registered Nurse
ACLS
BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
You should have a thorough knowledge of nursing and patient care standards and procedures.
It is essential for you to know relevant laws, rules, and regulations, including those for nursing care certifications and accreditations.
You should be familiar with concepts such as health promotion, risk reduction, illness and disease prevention, and management.
It is crucial for you to have effective communication skills, both spoken and written.
Your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities will be vital in this role.
Good grasp of general computer skills.
