About The Position

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing preferred; applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered with a requirement to matriculate to a Bachelor's program.
• Active BLS certification via AHA, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network at time of hire.
• Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with various diagnoses including sickle cell crisis, heart failure, sepsis, COPD/asthma, and DVT/PE.
• Collaborate with Hospitalist Attendings to ensure focused patient care.
• Participate in the Nurse Residency Program for professional development.
• Engage in monthly Lunch & Learn sessions with doctors for continuous learning.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment through social outings and team-building activities.
