About The Position

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of RN Radiation/Oncology at varying levels (I, II). The clinic is one of the nation’s leading health care organizations with over 40 locations throughout Houston, nationally recognized for delivering coordinated and accountable care. As a multi-specialty clinic, it offers care from more than 900 medical providers in 65 medical specialties. The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels. Requirements

Graduate from an approved RN program
Valid and current Texas RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
1+ year of RN experience
Ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population
Computer proficiency
Experience with EMRs
Proven clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work flexible work hours
Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

3+ years of RN experience with at least 1+ years of experience in Oncology or related experience

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards
Includes all duties of RN Hematology-Oncology Nurse
