About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and decisive RN House Supervisor to oversee clinical operations and facility management during the evening shift at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTACH) facility. This role serves as the primary clinical leader on-site, ensuring patient safety, coordinating staffing resources, and providing administrative oversight to maintain the highest standards of care outside traditional business hours.

Requirements

• Associate Degree (ASN or ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute supervision experience.
• Proven knowledge of Joint Commission standards and protocols.
• Active New York State RN License (NYSED verification required).
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• PALS (American Heart Association)
• Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making abilities.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills for managing diverse clinical teams.
• Proficiency in high-pressure situations and emergency response protocols.
• Commitment to patient security, confidentiality, and rights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary clinical resource on-site, managing patient flow and addressing clinical emergencies or complex care needs.
• Coordinate and adjust nursing assignments based on patient acuity and census to ensure optimal coverage.
• Maintain facility readiness and clinical practice in accordance with Joint Commission standards and state regulations.
• Lead responses to emergency codes and manage conflict resolution among staff, patients, or families.
• Work closely with nursing staff and on-call physicians to facilitate seamless communication and care delivery.
