RN House Supervisor Day Shift Every Other Weekend - Saturday & Sunday 6:30 am to 7:00 pm We offer competitive pay and shift differentials. The Pines at Davidson is hiring an RN House Supervisor to ensure top-notch care for our residents in our assisted living and long-term care settings. The RN House Supervisor provides clinical oversight, team member supervision, and coordination of resident care across all levels of the community (assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing). Requirements

  • Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Knowledge of current standards of practice and the rules, regulations, and laws related to nursing practice within the long-term care industry.
  • Ability to teach this knowledge to others.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to exercise judgement.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to deal with conflict with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to independently create documents in various programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe), and navigate electronic medical record systems.
  • Positive interpersonal relationship skills, including with persons of all ages and cultures.
  • Ability to lead others and communicate effectively.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a geriatric setting preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership for all nursing team members during assigned shifts.
  • Conduct resident rounds to evaluate condition changes, monitor high-risk residents, and ensure clinical needs are met.
  • Supervise and assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Oversee timely completion of documentation, including assessments, incident reports, and nursing notes.
  • Respond to codes, rapid responses, and acute condition changes.
  • Communicate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and families as needed.
  • Ensure proper escalation and documentation of emergency events.
  • Participate in hand‑off reports, care plan updates, and leadership huddles.
  • Address resident/family concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure residents receive needed services, comfort measures, and timely provider notification.
  • Promote a positive, supportive environment for residents.
  • Identify trends or concerns and escalate to the DON/ and or Administrator.
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement in resident care.
