About The Position

As a House Supervisor, you will be a central orchestrator of care, empowering our frontline nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and drive operational excellence.Every day, you will actively engage with patient care needs, guide and support your nursing team's growth, and champion departmental objectives. You'll fiercely advocate for your fellow nurses, fostering an environment where every individual reaches their full potential.To thrive in this critical role, you will embody accountability and confident leadership. Your exceptional communication will shine in 1:1 interactions with physicians, consultants, and family advocates, as you skillfully navigate challenging conversations to ensure optimal performance and patient outcomes. Responsible to the Nurse Manager/Director. Functions as the unit supervisor, clinical resource person, and responsible for nursing resource utilization. Assumes responsibility for unit operations for shift worked Follows a process that defines qualifications, responsibilities, competencies of staff needed to provide care and services that meet the needs of the patient care units. Continually defines, analyzes, and implements efficient workflow utilizing process improvement principles. Develops own and staff skills in seeing organizational issues from the broad view, anticipating challenges and opportunities, thinking ahead, and the ability to react quickly with tactical responses to changes in work demands Creates and supports an environment in the department that encourages problem solving, experimentation, creativity, calculated risk taking, desire to excel and pride in success.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of four years clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • Three years demonstrated leadership as a charge nurse.
