About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a hands-on House Supervisor role supporting hospital operations during assigned shifts. This position provides active clinical and operational leadership across all departments, ensuring safe patient care, effective staffing, and smooth patient flow. Requirements

  • Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership and supervision across all hospital departments
  • Make regular rounds to assess patient safety, care quality, staffing, and operational needs
  • Manage admissions, discharges, transfers, and bed placement
  • Support nursing and ancillary staff with real-time guidance and decision-making
  • Serve as the escalation point for clinical, staffing, and operational issues
  • Coordinate temporary and agency staff and ensure appropriate orientation
  • Assist medical staff with after-hours procedures and on-call coordination
  • Provide direct patient care when needed within RN scope of practice
  • Respond to patient and family concerns and support service recovery
  • Participate in emergency response and incident management
