Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BSN)
• Active RN license in state of practice
• 3 years' nursing experience in a pediatric clinical setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Nice To Haves

• 1 Year Nursing Supervisor experience
• 2 Years Critical Care experience
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Directing the daily activities of the Inpatient Unit.
• Oversight of care delivered to patients.
• Ensuring that staff, equipment, supplies and other resources are available and accessible for the provision of care.
• Fostering collaborative relationships with staff.
• Assisting with the professional development of nursing staff.
• Ensuring the quality of care provided meets or exceeds the standards established by The Joint Commission, CMS, SHC and other applicable governmental or regulatory agencies.
• Serving as the top-ranking administrative representative for the hospital during non-routine work hours.
