About The Position
Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 27Number of Staff – 50 RN/25 MedicsType of staff:o Day Shift – 1 charge, 5 RN, 2-3 medics; increase by 4-5 RN at 11am; increase by 1-2 RN at 3pm o Night Shift - 1 charge, 5 RN, 2-3 medics Patient Ratios – 4-6:1 Type of equipment - EMR - Meditech
Requirements
- Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments
- Must have 2-3 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
Nice To Haves
- High acuity ERs
- Fast paced ERs with high volume
- Experience with patient ratios of 5:1
- TNCC
- ENPC
- NRP
- NIH
Responsibilities
- RSI
- Sepsis interventions
- Stroke protocol with tPA administration
- Central line placement
- Care of the psych patient
- Transfers to other facilities (EMTALA)
