About The Position
Our infusion center team provides critical outpatient infusion care services for our BMT and liver/renal transplant programs at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. Our infusion nurses play a critical role in supporting our apheresis program and provide oversight to our stem cell collection procedures. We also provide support for outpatient CAR T infusions. We are committed to provided excellent care to these very vulnerable patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- MUST have ONC or BMT experience
- Good IV skills
- Experience with blood product administration
- Experience with immunocompromised patients
- Good team player
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Infusions of IVIG, blood, Albumin/Lasix
- Electrolyte replacement
- Antibiotics, hydration
- Granix and Mozobil administration for transplant
- Provide oversite
