About The Position

As an RN with our Hospice Care Center, you will maintain primary duties that include providing direct patient care and functioning as a patient advocate. You will assess the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients and coordinate the patient and family/significant other education process. Your role will involve continuously planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant others into the process. You will participate with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plans of care. Effective communication of all relevant information, including patient information, safety issues, and quality issues, to your immediate supervisor in a timely manner is essential. Additionally, you will document changes in patient condition promptly to the charge nurse/supervisor and physician.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
