Responsibilities Provides nursing care in the home setting related to home infusion therapies for patients ranging in age from adolescents through geriatrics. Responsible for the overall management of an assigned case load of patients, coordinating care with other nurses, multiple disciplines, physicians, and community resources to achieve improved health and quality outcomes for patients. Demonstrates professional growth and accountability.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a nursing program Required
  • Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience in acute care medical/surgical nursing Required
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Upon Hire Required
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Employee must comply with all applicable laws related to legally operating a vehicle. Upon Hire Required
  • Additional Required Certifications: Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification – prior to independent chemotherapy administration Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 1 year Nursing Experience Preferred
  • Nursing Experience in home health setting Preferred
  • Prior case management experience Preferred
  • CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate) preferred Preferred

Responsibilities
