The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong background in various nursing specialties, including critical care, urgent care, and emergency medicine. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field.
- Proficiency in critical care, urgent care, emergency medicine, or laboratory settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of physiology and sonography principles is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in nursing home settings is an advantage but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs in their home environment.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Perform specialized nursing procedures such as ostomy care, wound care, and administration of dermal fillers when necessary.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians, physical therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.
