About The Position
Corewell Health is offering up to a $10,000 sign on bonus for this position, which will service the Kentwood and Wyoming areas of home care. The Visiting Nurses Association is Corewell Health's Home Care Skilled Nursing Team for West-Central areas of Michigan. The team is accepting applications from experienced RNs, LPNs, and New Grads. For experienced RNs, this is an autonomous position that requires the use of top nursing skills and critical thinking. Working in home health allows nurses to treat patients in the comfort of their homes, fostering patient thriving and ownership of their healthcare. Nurses receive personalized assignments close to home, enabling them to visit between 5-7 patients per shift. The Corewell Health West, Visiting Nurses Team covers a wide area, including Ludington, Baldwin, Nunica, Kent County, Ottawa County, and as far south as Gun Lake, to provide outstanding patient care. Under the direct supervision of the Nursing Manager and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Nurse utilizes clinical judgment skills to access and implement patient treatment plans. The RN assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.
Requirements
- Associates in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- MI Driver’s License Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
Responsibilities
