About The Position

Cottage Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into the Head Clinic Nurse role within our Rural Health Clinics (RHC) in Woodsville, NH. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on supporting teams, strengthening operations, and ensuring exceptional patient care. In this role, you’ll serve as the clinical backbone of our RHCs—guiding daily workflows, mentoring and developing staff, and partnering closely with the RHC Director to drive initiatives forward. You’ll work alongside providers and clinical teams to maintain high standards of care while also stepping in clinically when needed. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily clinic operations, supporting and coaching nurses, LPNs, and CMAs, assisting with scheduling and performance management, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices. You’ll also play a key role in patient care through triage, medication refills, and prior authorizations, while helping enhance policies, procedures, and overall clinic efficiency. We’re seeking a collaborative, organized, and relationship-driven RN who brings strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for community-based care. Candidates should be graduates of an accredited RN program with an active (or eligible) New Hampshire RN license, BLS certification within 12 months, and ideally 5+ years of nursing experience.
