About The Position

South College is seeking a motivated Graduate Nurse Anesthesia Admissions Officer to guide prospective students through the enrollment process for the Nurse Anesthesia Program. This dynamic role focuses on recruiting, advising, and supporting applicants while ensuring admissions standards are met and departmental goals are achieved.

  • Candidates must have earned a bachelor's degree or have comparable work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Graduate Nurse Anesthesia Admissions Officer will be responsible for initial communication touch points with prospective program applicants.
  • Assists the Director of Operations as requested in welcoming prospective Graduate Nurse Anesthesia students by actively participating in all steps of the enrollment process (required paperwork, qualifications, campus tours, and assisting as needed with communications regarding financial aid.
  • Provides adequate and accurate information relative to the Graduate Nurse Anesthesia Program.
  • Manage the evaluation of the initial application status of the applicant pool per each yearly cohort.
  • Communicates as needed with potential applicants to complete application requirements, in consultation with the program administration and the Director of Operations.
  • Further qualify applicants for admission who meet the stated college admissions requirements, and schedule Zoom interviews as needed with qualified applicants per program protocol.
  • Utilize good use of time by making all required phone calls, follow-ups, generating referrals and other daily activities in pursuit of departmental objectives.
  • Consistently performs the activities that support individual and overall team admissions processes by following policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to the approved annual departmental budget.
  • Provides feedback to department managers on how to improve the overall quality and efficiency of the admissions department.
  • Other duties as assigned, including simulation lab organization and stocking, as well as assistance as directed with on-campus intensive session management duties.
