Lutheran Hospital’s 6D Geriatric Psych Unit specializes in the care of patients ages 55 and older. This team is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthier and more productive lives through evaluation, treatment and stabilization. As RN in this department, you will use your nursing skills to enhance care and facilitate a welcome, healing environment for patients. You will gain hands-on experience with a unique population, developing knowledge in Behavioral Health. You can also benefit from participation in committees, employee activities and community services. A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM or 11:00PM – 7:30AM.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
