Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Flexible hours between 0700 – 1700 Weekly hours not to exceed 40 hours Family Days and Down Days are considered workdays On-Call : On-call requirements: 600 hours per FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) Minimum Qualifications (Applicants must meet the following requirements): Degree : Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution. Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience in relevant settings, including 1 year of providing moderate sedation with recovery. Proficiency in patient care, pharmacology, documentation, and disease management. Licensure : Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license from any state. Life Support Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Security : Must be able to pass a Government background check/security clearance. Core Duties: Coordinate patient care: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. Ensure compliance with care standards: Follow established policies and procedures to maintain quality care. Administer medications: Dispense prescribed medications and perform wound care. Recognize and respond to emergencies: Identify adverse signs and symptoms and act swiftly in emergency situations. Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team: Effectively interact with diverse healthcare professionals and inform the team about plans and actions. Additional Duties : Assess and plan patient care: Evaluate data from various sources and make clinical decisions, ensuring optimal outcomes. Operate specialized medical equipment: Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment for various procedures. Assist with GI procedures: Support gastroenterology procedures and patient recovery, including conscious sedation. Participate in process improvement: Engage in initiatives to enhance healthcare processes and safety. Ensure a safe work environment: Promote employee and patient safety by following regulatory guidelines and infection control policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
