About The Position

This position will serve in the role of RN Night Supervisor and is responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes safety and well-being of all patients. Makes staff assignments as directed when serving in a Charge Nurse Role. Gives guidance and direction to personnel - LPNs, CNAs and non-licensed personnel, provides direct patient care, assists in new staff orientation and collaborates with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs. Assist in coordinating the operation of a shift on the nursing unit. This should be performed under the direction of the Director of Nursing and in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Education - Associate Degree in Nursing minimum; or Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing.
  • Licenses/Certificates - Registered and Licensed by the State of Georgia.
  • Certification in CPR (within 60 days of hire) and ACLS (and PALS if Charge Nurse) current or enrolls in class and completes within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
