ProMedica Hickman Cancer Center - Sylvania is the central hub of our ProMedica Cancer Institute's services and highly-specialized technologies for cancer care. From early detection and diagnosis to inpatient and outpatient services, you'll receive the full spectrum of cancer services at our Hickman Cancer Center. ProMedica Hickman Cancer Center resides on the campus of ProMedica Flower Hospital, a Division of ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Specialty certifications as required.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients of various ages.
• Positive attitude toward the goals of the unit and the institution.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
