Scope of Work The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s degree or equivalent Required
• B.S.N., or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years, required. This is effective April 18, 2023. As required by job posting.
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• 2 Yrs RN acute care experience required
• CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
• Or CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation Upon Hire required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association (exception: Dearborn, Farmington Hills, Taylor) Upon Hire required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association Critical Care, Emergency Care, Pre-Op and PACU, Radiology 180 Days required
• CRT-Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association Emergency Care 1 Year required
• And CRT-Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association Emergency Care 1 Year required
• CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA American Heart Association NICU, Family Birth Center, Family Birth Center, Mother Baby Care 180 Days required
• CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association Pediatrics 1 Year required
• CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association Pre-Op & PACU 180 Days required
