About The Position

Part-time, regular RN Float position that will also serve as House Supervisor | Must have a minimum of 5 years direct patient care experience Schedule will be variable, minimum of 2 shifts each week, and depending on need Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Nurse Staff RN renders professional nursing services in the treatment and care of assigned patients. You will provide for the comfort and well-being of patients by assessing condition, providing treatments, and documenting progress and other observations. You will report to the Manager.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in nursing
  • Current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing (or Multi-State Nursing License)Current CPR certification required
  • Good customer service skills
  • General computer and office skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's condition.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Formulate individualized plan of care.
  • Revise individualized plan of care as indicated by the patient's response to treatment; evaluate overall plan for effectiveness daily.
  • Evaluate discharge needs and coordinate with multi-health care disciplines in planning for care after discharge.
  • Assess pain management techniques and educate the patient and family regarding pain management.
  • Identify and address psychosocial needs of patient and family.
  • Administer drugs, blood, and solutions according to medical and surgical policies and protocols.
  • Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
  • Provide direct patient, assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including chest pain and changes in vital signs and results of diagnostic studies.
  • You will respond quickly to changes in patient's condition or response to treatment.
  • Create an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
  • Evaluate discharge needs, and coordinate with multi-health care disciplines in planning for care after discharge.
  • Assess and reassess pain management techniques used. Educate the patient and family regarding pain management.
  • You will identify and address psychosocial needs of patient and family.
  • Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
