Schedule: 07-1530, 40 hours every 2 weeks Every other weekend Some holidays As a Float RN at MercyOne, you will : Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for high-risk pediatric through aging adult patients with actual or potential life-threatening health problems in the intensive care units Complex assessments, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice Providing high-intensity therapies and interventions with continuous nursing surveillance Adherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Field Of Study: Nursing
  • Special Training: ACLS; Basic Life Support.
  • Licensure/Registration: Registered Nurse in Iowa; Registered Nurse in Illinois within 1 year.
  • Experience: No experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Training Preferred: Baccalaureate in Nursing, 2 years experience Critical Care/ED/CSU/CU
