The licensed registered nurse is a professional nurse who is responsible and accountable for providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process. This is accomplished by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care per established ethical/cultural codes and standards of nursing practices and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes. The float pool registered nurse is responsible to delegate tasks appropriately to other licensed and unlicensed health care team members. The RN will be scheduled to work in the following tracks: Acute Care - Any adult acute care unit, telemetry or transitional care unit at the Edgewood, Grant County, Covington, Florence & Ft. Thomas, and Dearborn facilities. Any adult acute care or transitional care patient assignments boarding in other areas (ED, PACU, ICU). Float Pool Commitment Levels Level 1 - Any Shift/96 hours/6 weeks (16 hrs./week) 24 hours of the 96 hours must be weekend hours Level 2 - All Nights/96 hours/6 weeks (16 hrs./week) 24 hours of the 96 hours must be weekend hours Level 3 - Any Shift/144 hours/6 weeks (24 hrs./week) 48 hours of the 144 hours must be weekend hours Level 4 - All Nights/144 hours/6 weeks (24 hrs./week) 48 hours of the 144 hours must be weekend hours Level 5 - Any Shift/216 hours/6 weeks (36 hrs./week) 48 hours of the 216 hours must be weekend hours Level 6 - All Nights/216 hours/6 weeks (36 hrs./week) 48 hours of the 216 hours must be weekend hours The best nursing career is right here.
