RN Field Nurse - Home Health | Guaranteed Wage | 2 Weekends/Month
About The Position
Immediate need for an experienced RN to provide one-on-one skilled home health visits for pediatric through adult patients in the field. BrightStar Care Louisville is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one home health care in the field, visiting multiple patients daily ranging in age from infants and adolescents to young adults and seniors. Enjoy a flexible schedule while delivering skilled bedside care, including G-tube, trach, vent, suprapubic catheter care, lab draws, wound care, infusions, ostomy care, port access, and IV starts. Requirements
- Current unrestricted RN license in Kentucky
- Certified BLS and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required with bedside care or home health preferred.
- Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.
- Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric Experience preferred
- Experience with lab draws, wound care, infusions, ostomy care, port access, IV starts and more.
