As an RN Field Case Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include assessing the medical needs of injured workers, coordinating care, and developing comprehensive plans that adhere to evidence-based guidelines and ODG standards. You will participate in provider appointments with injured workers to facilitate patient progress while actively managing their cases in collaboration with providers and employers. Daily tasks will involve documenting patient interactions, monitoring treatment plans, and ensuring that all care approaches align with Workers' Compensation regulations. You will engage with patients, providing education about their injury and treatment options while fostering a supportive and empathetic environment. Problem-solving will be a crucial part of your role, as you navigate challenges and advocate for your injured workers' needs.
