About The Position

At Hi-Desert Medical Center (HDMC) we've been caring for our community for over 40 years. Our Continuing Care Center (CCC), located on the campus of HDMC, provides specialized care to residents close to their own communities, with spectacular panoramic views of desert landscapes for both residents and their guests. The Continuing Care Center has 120 beds and offers three distinct levels of service in semi-private rooms: Subacute care, Skilled nursing care, and Long-Term Care. This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
• CPR certification.

• Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree).
