About The Position

The RN Evening Supervisor at Fairport Rehab and Nursing Center is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during evening shifts, ensuring high-quality care for residents in a skilled nursing facility. This role involves leadership, coordination with medical staff, and direct supervision of nursing personnel, contributing to a positive work environment and effective patient care.

Requirements

• Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Availability for evening supervision, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in an understandable manner.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation if necessary.
• Ability to function independently and work effectively with residents, staff, visitors, and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional role model and leader in problem solving and operations.
• Assist with resident assessments and make rounds as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and pharmacies as required.
• Provide leadership to household nurses and nurse aides.
• Maintain the household census sheet.
• Assist with staff education as appropriate.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
