The RN-ER-PRN position involves performing care that requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills based on the principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences in the application of the nursing process. The role utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards. The RN must possess the ability to supervise LPNs, CNAs, Techs, Unit Secretaries, and Clinical students. All employees are expected to continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives. The position requires the ability to identify scope of practice issues, prioritize tasks, engage in critical thinking, make effective decisions, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills, as well as delegation and team-leading skills consistent with professional growth. Adherence to specific hospital policies and procedures is mandatory.
