Cleveland Clinic's G81 ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine Unit is an 8-bed ENT/Plastics specialty stepdown unit and a 24-bed internal medicine unit. Patients in this unit have a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, such as head and neck cancer, surgical flaps and grafts, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis and complex multi-system failure. Caregivers float to both sides of the unit, so you will have one foot in medicine and 1 foot in critical care.
