RN - Endoscopy - Part time - La Jolla
About The Position
This is a Part-time (40 hours per 2 week pay period) , benefited, RN position located at Scripps Memorial La Jolla in the brand new north tower. The shift is an 8 hour day shift and the start time would vary and fall between 0630-0900 throughout the week. There is rotating call on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Ideally the orientation training period would be full time but this is flexible depending on availability. Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year RN experience
- Active California RN license
- BLS, Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
- Be able to speak, read and following instructions in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
Nice To Haves
- BA in Nursing
- Previous RN Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred
- Pre-OP/Post Op, IR/Cath/OR/moderate sedation experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice
- Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes
- The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision
- Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care
