About this Unit: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in the Endo Unit? If so, this might just be the job for you! Our Endoscopy department serves a diverse population of both inpatient and outpatients, providing Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Bronchoscopy and Minor Surgical procedures. Working as a team with the physician and Endoscopy technician we perform diagnostic and therapeutic exams for patients in our department, the OR, ICU, ED and Surgery. Endoscopy is a fast-paced, complex environment offering advanced learning opportunities for the right candidate while partnering with an experienced multidisciplinary team. Schedule: This position is 64 hours per two weeks on the day shift, 8 hour shifts with weekends as needed. Off premise call is required to cover evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

Requirements

MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
ACLS
2-5 years of current RN Endoscopy procedure experience.
