About The Position

California Hospital is thrilled to announce the opening of our brand new, state-of-the-art tower, featuring a significantly expanded and modernized Emergency Department. We're seeking experienced and compassionate Emergency Department nurses to join our growing team and be a part of this exciting new chapter. Responsibilities Use emergency triage protocol to intake discharge or admit patients. Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the larger ER team adapting care to changes in patient’s condition as needed. Use knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values beliefs and customs. Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patients condition. Requirements

  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in California
  • One-year acute care ER experience
  • Basic Dysrhythmia EKG Certification
  • LA City Fire Safety Training (within 90 days from date of hire)
  • Crisis Prevention Institute Training (within 90 days from date of hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required for all areas.
  • ACLS PALS required for Emergency
  • This position is represented by CNA
