About The Position

INTEGRIS Health Bass Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is offering a Registered Nurse position in Enid, Oklahoma. This role involves working PRN nights with the Emergency Department team, providing patient care. The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. The position may require floating to other units and participating in on-call status. It also requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals. Requirements

  • RN (Registered Nurse)
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • Hospice Only: Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association required in lieu of BLS
  • Other certifications and competencies required based on service line skill
  • Hospice and Employee Health: Valid driver's license in the state where employed, available and dependable transportation, ability to drive automobile, and proof of current automobile liability insurance
  • INTEGRIS Mental Health: This job requires the incumbents to operate a INTEGRIS-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS-owned) and therefore must have a current Oklahoma State Drivers License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier

Responsibilities

  • Assessment/re-assessments
  • Development of the plan of care
  • Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
  • Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
  • Supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
  • Mental Health staff must be able to assist with physical restraint of patients, utilizing the identified Behavior Management Technique System
