RN - Emergency Department

About the position

We are searching for a talented RN Emergency to work in a fast-paced community hospital emergency department at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. This position offers a new hire sign-on bonus of up to $9,000 based on experience. The role requires working evening/night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM with a weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within the assigned patient care unit.
• Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Over three months up to and including one year experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt from the requirement.
