About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff RN to join their hospital-based team at Auburn Medical Center. MultiCare Auburn Medical Center, serving South King County since 1921, is a 195-bed hospital featuring 58 behavioral health beds, a Family Birth Center, Level II NICU, Level III Trauma Center, MultiCare Regional Heart & Vascular Center, and advanced surgical services including robotic-assisted procedures. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency nursing experience is required
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
  • Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
  • Certification in specialty area preferred
  • One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
  • Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
