This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED), ideally with more than one year of ED experience. The unit features 26 beds and serves a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. It operates as a Level 2 trauma center, stroke center, and approved chest pain center, also holding geriatrics and pediatric accreditations. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1. The department fosters a culture of teamwork and appreciation, supported by dedicated ED educators to maintain competencies and a trauma coordinator. Frequent nursing skills and equipment used include IV placement, medication administration, critical patient management, assisting with sedation, casting, and wound management.
