About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. The ED RN will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in critical and urgent situations, ensuring rapid response and effective treatment in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Requirements

Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with acute or life-threatening conditions.
Triage patients according to severity and initiate appropriate care protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans.
Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions as needed.
Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
