RN - EHD Med/Surg Float Pool
About The Position
Become part of Essentia’s accomplished team in Duluth, Minnesota on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior! We are currently hiring for our Med/Surg Float Pool at Essentia Health - Duluth! Essentia Health - Duluth consists of the following floors: - Observation Unit - Inpatient Rehab - Adolescent Behavioral Health - Adult Behavioral Health - Med/Surg This float pool is primarily between Observation, Inpatient Rehab, and Med/Surg Floors as we have a separate Behavioral Health Float Pool. This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your nursing skillsets in the acute care setting! Submit an application today! - You will be responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - You will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. - You will contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Education Qualifications: BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing This position will work the following: 0.75 FTE 12 Hour Shifts Day/Night Rotation Every third weekend $2.00 per hour upon hire into a float pool position
Requirements
- Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
- 1 year Acute RN experience required
Nice To Haves
- PALS or ACLS preferred
- Critical Care experience preferred.
