Job Description: Position Summary and Purpose The RN Educator III–works collaboratively with leadership and the Office of Professional Practice to drive key nursing professional development programs designed to elevate practice across UofL Health. This employee works dynamically, collaboratively and inter-professionally to be responsive to professional development needs across the system, supporting the highest standards of quality and safety in patient care and nursing practice with resultant improved patient outcomes. This employee ensures that professional development programs are facilitated by appropriately prepared educational professionals using evidence based best practices, including technology, to meet the needs of nursing staff and interdisciplinary partners in order to accomplish organizational, facility and Office of Professional Practice strategic goals. The employee actively participates in quality improvement (QI), EBP, and nursing research processes across the system. The employee supports the core behaviors, standards, values, and missions of the organization, accrediting bodies, and profession of nursing as a professional role model.
