The Emergency Department provides care up to and including level 1 trauma designation, and clinical educators support individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • TNCC or ATCN within 1 year of hire.
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses certification.
  • PALS Certification.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
