About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your responsibilities will extend beyond direct patient care to include teaching and supporting patients, families, and significant others, ensuring they understand their health and treatment plans. You will also supervise and direct the activities of LPNs and CNAs, maintaining the highest standards of professional nursing practice. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Must meet all CEU requirements mandated by the Iowa Board of Nursing
  • Must maintain current registration and valid license with the Iowa Board of Nursing
  • Must maintain knowledge in all areas of nursing
  • Must maintain certification in BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC and NRP

Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Teaching and supporting patients, families, and significant others, ensuring they understand their health and treatment plans.
