What you'll do as an RN Nurse: Perform daily nursing duties such as medication administration, specimen collection, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, and patient observations. Order & follow up on lab tests, communicate results to providers, and escalate urgent findings. Address patient concerns with clear communication and provide education on medications and eating disorder-related medical issues. Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver ethical, high-quality care. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Assist milieu staff in supporting patients and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment. Transport patients to programming & outings when required Choose between the following shifts: RN Night Shift: 3 shifts per week (7 pm to 7 am) PRN RN: Dayshift

Requirements

  • Licensed: Must possess an active nursing license in Colorado as an RN with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experienced: Prior nursing experience working with eating disorders or behavioral health/mental health is preferred but not required.
  • Confident & Composed: Confident nursing skills and decision-making; remains calm in stressful situations.
  • Solutions-focused Team Player: Offers ideas and collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams; flexible and adaptable.
  • Eager to Learn: Motivated to understand eating disorders and their medical challenges better.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn electronic medical records and other software systems.
  • Professional: Demonstrates respectful communication, maintains patient confidentiality, and fosters a secure, trusting environment.

  • Competitive Shift Differentials:
  • Weekday Overnight: $4.00 additional per hour
  • Weekend Overnight: $6.00 additional per hour
