About The Position

The RN Director/Service Coordinator plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing nursing services and coordinating patient care within healthcare settings across the United States. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care by managing nursing staff, developing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires strategic planning to optimize service delivery, compliance with healthcare regulations, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. The RN Director/Service Coordinator acts as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication and care coordination. Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient care standards, and quality improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in Nursing Leadership or Case Management (e.g., CNML, CCM).
  • Experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals, home health, or long-term care.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare data analytics.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex care coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Coordinate services across departments to streamline patient care and resource allocation.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and professional development activities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and families to address concerns and provide education.
  • Analyze service delivery data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
